Description |

XML is a widely used open standard, a flexible way to create common information formats, and ideal for sharing pure data over the Internet, intranets, and elsewhere.
By using open standards we ensure that our services are as useful and compliant with users systems and technologies as possible. XML is an area that NetDania is using to make services easier to use, integrate, customize and produce value for users.
The XML Data Service physically resides at NetDania's servers, and returns data in XML format upon HTTP requests. Customers who wish to access the market data from in example ASP (Active Server Pages) can for example use Microsoft's free XML Parser XMLDOM, to display the market data integrated directly into their own documents, and/or components, in the most flexible way possible. The XML Data Service can also, as mentioned above, be accessed easily from any other language such as Java (Servlets, JSP), PHP and other, by using another of the many XML Parsers available.
